Johnny and Becka’s Magical Bus Ride

In the province of British Columbia, there was a small town called Lillooet. Best friends Ms. Johnson and Ms. Willington were both pregnant at the same time. On October 20 1994, Ms. Johnson gave birth to a baby boy and named him Johnny Johnson. That same day, Ms. Willington also gave birth, but to a baby girl and named her Becka Willington.
As they grew older Ms. Johnson and Ms. Willington arranged many play dates for their kids. Johnny and Becka became two peas in a pod and were the best of friends. When they were little, they would always share their milk bottles and when they were six, they would play house with Becka’s dolls. He didn’t like it, but he got dragged into it because he had to play with her. Johnny and Becka were even on the same basketball team in grade seven. They were the all stars of the basketball team. Those two really loved playing with each other.
One day Johnny and Becka were waiting for the bus going to school. As they were waiting for the school bus, a mysterious looking blue bus came towards them. Johnny and Becka were shocked to see the weird looking bus. They thought that the school had bought a new school bus, so they got on hoping it would take them to school.
When Johnny and Becka set foot on the bus, they felt like they were in another world. The bus had a big disco ball in centre of it, lighting the bus up with all the colours of the rainbow. There were two huge flat screen TVs, the comfiest couches and all the junk food and candy you could imagine. In the background, the speakers were bumping to Johnny and Becka’s favourite song.
Johnny was shocked, “WOOOOOW! This is our new school bus.”
“NO! It’s a Magic School Bus,” Bob the bus driver yelled.
Johnny and Becka were speechless.
“Where does this bus go?” Becka said worrying.
“This bus can take you where ever you want to go,” Bob said happily.
“Wait I’m confused, are we going to school mister?” Ask Johnny.
Bob replied, “Well do you want to go to school?”
“NO WAY!” they shouted, “I want to have fun, were so tired of school.”
Bob asked the kids “So where do you guys want to go”
“What do you mean mister,” replied the kids.
“You know this isn’t no ordinary bus, this is a magic school bus remember that”
The kids were really confused. “Mister, you’re very weird but also cool, should I be afraid of you?” asked Becka. Bob didn’t know what to say, but he didn’t want them to feel scared.
“Okay, don’t feel scared, I’m just an ordinary bus driver that drives people to school and has fun! But I drive the magic school bus.” Johnny and Becka felt more comfortable and introduce themselves.
“Hi, my name’s Johnny”
“And I’m Becka”
“We are both 12 years old,” they both said.
Bob ask” are you guys twins or something.”
The kids giggled, “No we have the same birthday, and were the best of friends.”
“Okay, since we no each other now, were do you guys want to go?” Bob asked.
“If this school bus is so magical, we want to go back in time to see the dinosaurs.” The kids replied.
“Be careful what you ask for, this bus can really go back in time, is that really what you guys want?”
“YES! We want t see some dinosaurs,” the kids screamed.
“Okay. But we have to say the magic words, ‘magic school bus please take me to the stone age’ if you say that three times, you will goo back in the time you wanted.”
So the kids said the magic words three times. Nothing happened for a while. Then all of a sudden, it got all dark, the floor was shaking, and a blue lighting flashed in a distance. Bob and the kids tried to grab anything to survive. Then everything stopped. Bob and the kids stepped outside the bus, and all they say was a big huge dinosaur.
“WHOA! Did you see that?” screamed Johnny.
“Yes, we did” answered Becka and Bob. Johnny and Becka were really scared.
“The dinosaur was HUGE!” Becka said with excitement.
“We want to go home now,” the kids said.
“I don’t think we can leave right now. This bus has got a flat tire. I have to change it before we go or else we’ll be stuck here forever.” Bob expressed loudly.
The kids were too frightened to go outside, so they watched Bob change the tire and told him if any dinosaurs were after him.
“Bob, WATCH OUT!” shouted Becka.
“BEHIND YOU!” Johnny yelled.
Luckily, Bob was able to finish fixing the flat tired and he safely got into the magical school bus. After that he quickly slammed his foot on the gas pedal and they rode off into the sky.
“That was a close one,” Bob said.
“YAAAAY BOB!” exclaimed Johnny.
“You’re our hero!” said Becka.
Bob was relieved, that no one was hurt and he decided that he’d take them back to school, so that they were safe and sound. “It’s time to go back now, you guys are going to be late for school.”
Johnny was in disbelief, “We still have to go to school?”
“Look out the window Johnny, we’re already here.” Becka yelled.
As they got off the bus, they thanked Bob for the amazing journey they had. All of a sudden, the bell rang. They ran as fast as they could to their classroom, but they ended up late.
“Where have you too been?” the teacher said.
“You wouldn’t believe us if we told you.” Johnny and Becka said laughing.
